Cabbage Trees and Bulrushes Silhouette

We had 2 choice to draw a silhouette Cabbage tree or draw a silhouette Bulrushes. So I chose to draw a silhouette Cabbage tree. Some children drew Bulrushes. We were drawing it because there are Cabbage trees and Bulrushes on the site that the Glen Innes school children are learning about.

You can find the online tools on the spreadsheet for example the pie chart and the bar chart . You can also find the average. When I first went of the spreadsheet I thought the it is going to be really hard to find the charts and the average. But it was really easy to find it.

Dragonflies

Today we made a dragonfly for Omaru Creek and my dragonfly is pretty good not bad but it had different colored eye. I thought it was hard to make it but it was really easy.  We really enjoyed making the dragonflies and I really loved making it.

Yesterday we received a package from Grey Main school. So when we opened the package is had a we are page and it had poems in it. I was really afflicted to read the poems. The when I started reading the poem it wasn’t that bad because they just started learning english.They wrote a enjoyable metaphors. I really liked the we are page because it gave us a lot of information .

Last week we were sending a package to a school named Gary Main school in the south island. We sent them a package which we had to work on for the last week. We are waiting to receive a from their school.

We used google maps to determine the walking  distance to 124 Apirana Avenue. This is the entrance to the Omaru Creek that we are studying. The screenshot shows the route, distance and time from my house to the creek. Zain lives the furthest which is 4.8km and it will take time 59 minutes to get to Omaru Creek. Jolie lives the closest to Omaru Creek 550m and it will take her 7 minutes to get to Omaru Creek.Harrison lives in East Tamaki so our teacher told him that he has to walk from the train station to Omaru Creek.Next, we .will be calculating the mean and the median.= 1.5
