Basic facts-29/7 /16

Every morning we have to do prototec which is our maths basic facts.

Prototec is made in stages,table and is timed.

Today I sat test stage 7 and I got 62%.  My challenge is to get 100%.

The food’s journey to the large intestine.

This explanation is about how the food that we eat , gets to our large intestine.

First the food is in your mouth , you need get the food into little pieces by using your teeth.After you've done that your tongue helps you to push the food down to your esophagus.   

Then the muscles of your esophagus pushes the food slowly down to your stomach,about seven seconds.

In your stomach the food is still soft like a liquid ,Then your stomach pushes the food slowly down to your small intestine.

Our small intestine help you to make the food a bite harder.After its abite harder than ,it pushes the the food very slowly down to your large intestine.

Our large intestine makes the food  harder and harder and from our large intestine it goes to your rectum.

Online Assessment.
Today I sat an assessment test in maths. I wrote it online,on www.prototec.co.nz. I was so when I achieved 96% on stage 5.

Tomorrow I am going to attempt the stage 6 assessment.

The Zoo Trip

One day Sally,Jenny and Cory went to the zoo.The first animal they saw was a lion. A  lion is scary. He has long teeth. The next animal they saw was a tiger. A big tiger. "A tiger is scary like a lion," said Sally. The next animal

they saw was a monkey. "A monkey is very funny" said Sally. The next animal they saw was a rhinoceros. "A rhinoceros is also very scary." said Sally. The next animal they saw was a fish. "A fish is not scary," said Sally. The next animal they saw was an elephant. "An elephant is big, fat scary," said Sally. The monkey is a funny animal. One day I am going to go to the zoo.

On Monday was when our swimming coaches came to school. The name of the swimming coaches are Olivia,  Duncan and Julie.  They were very good because in that 2 week we learn all things about swimming. We learnt the backstroke and the freestyle.  That was what we were learning this week.  I think i like swimming.
