The last and the best one was the outdoor activity. I loved played with the old outdoor toys. It was just unbelievable, I loved it. The best outdoor toy was the stilts. You could stand on the stick and walk which was so fun. I loved the last activity.
I am a Year 8 student at Glen Innes School in Auckland, New Zealand. I am in Room 8 and my teacher is Mrs Ramkolowan.

Old school
My second favorite one was the old school. In the old days people used to start school by a special way of greeting.
First the teacher had to say, “ Good morning class.”
Then the children had to say, “ Good morning Mrs … .” These days we use computer to write but in the old days they used rock. When I tried it, it felt very different to what we use today. It was harder as well and here is the worst bit they weren’t allowed to write with their left hand. People thought that if people used their left hand they were naughty. That is why that activity was my second to favorite one.

Old toys - 1889
Yesterday I was enjoying my day at Howick Historical Village. It was an awesome village to explore. It was fun and quite tiring, but it was really enjoyable.
So we began with toys. One thing that I remember is playing with a wooden ball. It wasn’t bouncy like the one we have now but it was worth playing with. My favorite one was the magic spinner. The magic spinner is a small circle that is made out wood but it was colored in rainbow. When you spinned it, it changed colors. I loved playing with the toys.
