Adding fractions with the same denominator

WALT: add fractions with the same denominator.  Show on a diagram.

1. ⅖   +   ⅕  =  3/5

2. 3/7  +  2/7  = 5/7

3. 2/6  +  3/6  = 5/6

4. 4/10  +  3/10  = 7/10

5. 3/12  +  5/12  =8/12

6. 4/9  +  3/9  =7/9

7. ⅜  +  ⅝  = 8/8 = 1

8. 5/11  +  3/11 =

9.3/10 + 2/10 = 5/10 =1/2

10.4/8 + 3/8

 

11.⅕ + ⅘ = 5/5 = 1

12.¼+2/4= ¾
