Being good with your money
It was the 28th of february 2017 and a lady from ASB bank came to our classroom , her name was Anina . Anina said “ How to use our money, she told us to put our left thumb on our right thumb”.But that game was made up by her it had no researches or anything. So she said “ we are going to play a game”. The game was about how are you using your money. Some of the kids in our classroom didn’t really knew how to use their money. So she asked us some question and the 1st question was. Which job gives you more money? But everybody came up with many different answer, and the correct answer was doctor. But that isn’t the only question she asked she other questions. She taught us a lot about how to use our moneys.

Oamaru Creek
The Omaru Creek is in Glen Innes going towards Apirana Avenue. There was a problem with the creek. The creek was really dirty because people were flushing rubbish down toilet. So the Maintenance Crew had a look. They decided to clean the creek because it was really dirty.
While the crews were cleaning the creek they found rubbish and they were not happy about it. They saw that the people were throwing stuff such as baby wipes, oil and all the other stuff. It wasn't the crew's job to clean the creek but they did it because they wanted the area to be clean.
We at Glen Innes school went to a part of the creek closest to Apirana Avenue, and that place is absolutely filthy. So we saw stuff that were not meant to be like fly spray, hose, algae on top on the water. We saw weeds that needs to get cut off, plants that block the water, sticks that were thrown in. Clothes were thrown and plastics. These are the pictures.
