Today Ms Maude came to our class. She taught us how the maori’s used to survived in the old days.

She said “ In the old days people ate bird for food. If I was a kid what would I see people doing in a village? I would see people doing work, like making clothes, hunting and cooking. The kids used to learn how to work by listening to their grandparents. Because their grandparents has already been through these. They told them their history so they could understand.
